OMINT collaborate with the Cruz de Malta Institution, not only with financial support but also with incentive to collaborators participation as volunteers in permanent actions (Solidary Smile Project) and in the specific programs (Buccal Health), throughout the year.
Among the initiatives that more stands out in 2008 is the program “Incluir”, directed to the young public who participates of workshops of the Institution, with the purpose to instruct and aware them about the demands and posture to required to join in the labor market. We also promote the Christmas Party in the institution with donations of toys and recreative activities besides the donation of papers which are collected for recycling, disposable cups, food, clothes and utensil delivered in the institution over the year.
We present annually the collaborators in their birthday with products (cubby box, picture frame, etc) made in the Institution in marquetry factory.
Solidary Smile Project (Sorriso Solidário)
The buccal action happens twice a year and integrate the Solidary Smile project (permanent attendance of odontology in the Institution) and consists in promotion services, prevention and recuperation of buccal health aiming the improvement of general health and quality of life of the public from the Cruz de Malta Institution.
The Cruz de Malta institution is located near to the region of Jabaquara and the Slolidary Smile Project happens during all the year. Weekly, volunteers from Omint provide regular attendance to the population attended by the institution. In 2007 it was attended 3138 (adults, teenagers and children). The materials used in the attendance are also donated by Omint. All the actions of social responsibility conducted by Omint makes part of the Program Good Morning (Bom Dia).
The initiative which exists for more than 4 years, sustain three fronts of performance: heath, leisure and socio-environmental responsibility. The decisions about the activities of each front are made by a commitee with representatives of distinct áreas of the Company, where the general coordination stays for the responsible of the area of Development of HR.
