MANAGEMENT REPORT
The Brazilian economy has not yet fully recovered to the expected growth path, yet there are some signs of improvement as evidence such as increased consumer confidence, maintenance of interest rates at low percentages and controlled inflation at levels below the target.

In addition, we recently had factors that directly influenced the macroeconomic situation, such as the Covid-19 pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.

The social, political and economic scenario started to be characterized by a high degree of uncertainty, given unpredictability of the frame size. Although It started in China, today it inevitably impacts the Brazilian economy with the high Dollar, cost pressure and lack of inputs, to name a few examples – adding low visibility under growth projections.

The year 2020 began with essential economic possibilities, such as continued structuring reforms in Brazil, which generates an expectation regarding the resumption of growth, having as its consequence the generation of jobs and the increase in consumption. These efforts are likely to be in conjunction with contingency measures related to the new coronavirus, with direct and indirect implications for the health insurance market.

In this context, Omint Saúde continued to focus on its product lines Omint Premium, Omint Corporate and Omint Skill, considered strategic by Human Resources managers in the composition of benefit packages offered when hiring presidents, directors, managers and other employees of companies that have intellectual capital as a strategic differential.

Supported by the pillars of quality, management, innovation and digital transformation, Omint has offered solutions that bring gains to the entire value chain. It is in the company’s DNA to incorporate best practices and procedures, always to the benefit of customers, companies, accredited partners and brokers. And our experience shows that the good management of these resources guarantees sustainability of the business and the loyalty of all our stakeholders.

Customers benefit from the access to the most advanced and efficient services, treatments, health programs and prevention; companies gain a powerful differential in their package of benefits, linked to an efficient and innovative management model, which has guaranteed the lowest rate readjustment of the market; benefit from accredited professionals and institutions in partnership with Omint, respected for their medical conduct; and benefit from Omint, for having a very high recommendation rate for their plans and high loyalty of client companies, much higher than the market average.

Connectivity, mobility, less bureaucracy, agility, practicality and transparency meet the expectations of our customers. Therefore, we have continuously invested in innovation and digitization of processes, developing digital solutions that carry the same quality as all of our products and services.

The launch of our telemedicine platform, Dr. Omint Digital was a major example and, in the current situation resulting from the pandemic, it will be fundamental to the market, customers and the company’s role in the sector. Launched in early 2018, it pioneered in the health insurance segment in Brazil, the service makes doctors available to our customers for medical assistance by videoconference, long before the subject gained prominence in the national press.

The Omint Saúde App, the Omint Mais Chat and the intuitive search for accredited partners are also examples of these solutions, which puts our services and customer service in the hand of our customers.

In line with the health and cost management objectives for clients, Omint continued to invest in 2019 in health promotion programs aimed at mapping and mitigating risks for client companies, offering a comprehensive diagnosis of the use of plans, incidence of chronic illnesses and complex case management.

It also prioritized differentials such as the incomparable quality of its accredited network and services such as Boa Hora – a program for monitoring pregnant women and Dr. OMINT by phone and at home, offering telephone medical advice and home consultations respectively, in addition to collecting home examinations. These differentials increase employee satisfaction and result in an effective resource management and loss control, bringing gains to the entire value chain.

PERSPECTIVES
The company’s positive performance recorded in 2019, even in a challenging scenario, reinforces the right choice of the strategic direction adopted by Omint and its business model, oriented towards efficiency and the permanent search for consistent results for the company and its clients.

In 2020, we are facing an unpredictable environment. The GDP projection was reduced to 1.68%, reflection of the scenario that should continue throughout the year. In this sense, our commitment is to act strongly on our management pillar and maintain transparent and constant contact with our clients and partners to share the next steps.

Omint Saúde is the leader in the high-end segment, which has greater resilience to the effects of recession and still offers opportunities for acquiring new business.

The company’s strategy remains focused on offering high quality products and services, operational efficiency and control of accident indicators with the implementation of management programs of health and quality of life in its customer base and the offer of specialized assistance, managing complex cases for clients, among other initiatives.

2020 will also be marked by the strengthening of relations with distribution channels, especially with specialized brokers, expanding the company’s operations.

ECONOMIC SCENARIO

ECONOMIC-FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

Omint maintained its growth plans and ended 2019 with a turnover of R$ 1,653 billion, a 8% growth compared to the previous year. The strategy put into practice in recent years was decisive for growth, resulting in creating exceptional value for the company.

INVESTMENTS
In 2019, OMINT invested R$ 23,633 million in Quality, Information Technology projects and Marketing, with the development of new institutional media and a focus on digital transformation and innovation.

For the year 2020, OMINT will continue its efforts to offer new experiences and technologies that add value to relations with its stakeholders.

DESTINATION OF PROFITS
As a practice, the company has reinvested part of the annual profit within the business itself, through retention of profits as a reserve. Balances can be distributed in the form of dividends as decided at the Shareholders’ Meeting.

HUMAN RESOURCES
The Human Resources area worked on the strategic theme “100% Digital Focus and Increase of Productivity ”, with programs aimed at institutional support on this topic, delivery, excellence operating costs, improved cost management and creating attractive products and services for new policyholders.

To achieve this, in 2019 we carried out:

· Climate Engagement Survey 2019 with a 73% favorability;

· Internal and external programs for leadership, analysts and consultants and operational areas, with aaverage of 37 hours of training per employee and 89% participation;

· 756 Internal Communication Actions through our Social Network (Yammer), email marketing, Intranet, Corporate TV and Murals. 5 issues of Digital Magazine.

· 65 Actions of the Quality of Life Program, with participation in the Health fronts, Leisure and Culture and Social and Environmental Responsibility.

· Monitoring the productivity and managing the turnover of our employees;

Human Resources actions are developed for all Omint Group companies.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 
The Social and Environmental Responsibility actions are part of the Bom Dia Program and its purpose is to develop ideas of sustainability and volunteering. In 2019 we had 15 actions in which we worked with the Cruz de Malta Assistance Center, Graac, Hospital Sírio Lebanese, NGO Anjos da noite, Amor em Mechas Institution focused on volunteering, social inclusion, social health, promoting commemorative dates (Easter, Christmas etc.) and also institutional sponsorship of the Omint Group.

2019 begins with essential economic possibilities such as reform structuring in Brazil, which will certainly help the expected resumption of growth, creating new jobs and the increase in consumption.

This recovery of the national economy, linked to the creating of formal jobs in sectors such as trade and services in large urban centers, directly impacts the market for health plans.

In this context, Omint Saúde continued to focus on its product lines Omint Premium, Omint Corporate and Omint Skill, considered strategic by Human Resources managers in the composition of benefit packages offered when hiring presidents, directors, managers and other employees of companies that have intellectual capital as a strategic differential.

PERSPECTIVES
The company’s positive performance in 2018, even in a challenging scenario, reinforces the right choice of the strategic direction adopted by Omint and its business model, oriented towards efficiency and the permanent search for consistent results for the company and its customers.

For 2019, even in the face of a challenging environment, the company projected new growth in this period. The recovery of the Brazilian economy, with a projection of 2.28% of GDP growth, reinforces and animates the company’s expectations.

Even with important challenges to overcome in the tax and fiscal field, Omint believes in the resumption of the economy in the medium term, with direct effects for the supplementary health sector.

Omint Saúde is the leader in the high-end segment, which has greater resilience to the effects of recession and still offers opportunities for acquiring new business.

In 2018, OMINT invested R$ 23,633 million in Quality, Information Technology projects and Marketing, with the development of new institutional media and a focus on digital transformation and innovation.

For the year 2019, OMINT will continue its efforts to offer new experiences, technologies that add value to relations with its stakeholders.

To achieve this, in 2018 we carried out:

· Climate survey by Voce S / A magazine with an 82% quality index

Work Environment (IQAT);

· Internal and external programs for leadership, analysts and consultants and operational areas, with an average of 39 hours of training per employee and 89.56% participation;

· 480 Internal Communication Actions through our Social Network (Yammer), email marketing, Intranet,

6 editions of Revista + Omint and Corporate TV.

· 60 Actions in the Quality of Life Program, with participation in the Health, Leisure and Culture and Social Environmental Responsibility.

· Monitoring the productivity and managing the turnover of our employees;
